SUMMER READING WEEKLY PROGRAMS

All scheduled programs and events being subject to the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Birth through Grade 6 (12 yrs old)
Monday, June 1st thru Monday, August 31st

Children are invited to track their summer reading by counting how many minutes they read or are read to each day and completing missions.

As children read and log their time they will be awarded with on-line games and fun badges. Prizes will be awarded each month.

Teens (13 yrs) & Adults
Monday, June 1st thru Monday, August 31st

Teens (age 13 or up) and Adults are invited to record their summer reading, complete missions & write reviews. Each recorded book will earn 100 points. Prizes awarded for most points.

All patrons who complete the required book reviews (3 reviews, 300 words) will be entered in a  random drawing for a $50 Amazon Gift Card.

Participation & Registration Details

Birth though 6th Grade: Open to all community children of the appropriate age (up to 12yrs old). Parents/Caregivers can register their child(ren) at any time during the program dates.

Children can track their reading and complete missions on our ReadSquared website. Children will unlock fun online games and badges. Prize drawings will be held each month (June, July & August).  Children that have completed the required tasks for that month will be eligible.

Teens & Adults: Open to all community teens & adults (ages 13 and up). Patrons can register at any time during the program dates.
