
Crafted to Grow: Nature Art with Corinne Kelly

Exploring what a plant needs to thrive through art inspired by Nature Author/Illustrator, Yuval Zommer. He is known for the “Big Book” series and other books like “The Tree That’s Meant to Be” and “A Thing Called Snow”. His books often focus on nature and wildlife. Join, CVCS Science teacher, Corinne Kelly to create an art piece using natural and recycled materials to help us understand the basic ingredients a flower needs to grow.
Each participate will create a nature art piece using a variety of natural/recycled materials and basic craft and art supplies.
All ages.
Program provided using funding from the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Library System’s Mini Summer Reading Grant 2025.
Participates are asked to leave their art projects for our Community Art Show displaying all projects created throughout the summer. Projects will be labeled with artists first initial, last name and age. Select projects may be laminated to help preserve the piece. Projects will be on display through the 25th Building Anniversary that will be celebrated as part of the 26th Annual History Fair on Saturday, September 16th.
