9:30 – 10:30 Join us as we discover how sound works and learn about the Elements & Principles of Music and their counterparts in Art. Experience artists who use sound and movement as inspiration for their work and create your own Keith Haring inspired dancing masterpiece!
10:30-11:30 Join us as we learn about the Music & Art of the Harlem Renaissance, a golden age in African-American culture. Experience the work of Romare Bearden whose collage pieces were heavily influenced by the time period and create your own inspired collages combing images cut from magazines and colored paper to showcase your favorite styles of music.
